Well, yesterday was a disappointment...I found out that I failed the 1 hour glucose test, so I had to go in today for the 3 hour glucose tolerance test (GTT). It involved fasting for 10 hours prior, getting a baseline level drawn, then drinking a super concentrated glucose drink followed by three more blood draws on the hour. I decided not to worry too much about it as only 15% of those who fail the first test, go on to have gestational diabetes.
On the bright side, I had about three hours to read and knit while waiting for blood draws. I finished the back side of the baptism outfit and started the front. I have about 1.5 inches of the front. Whoo hoo. My goal will be to finish in two weeks time, so how about making Valentine's Day my deadline for the baptism outfit!
