Mia is getting back on track after our trip. She does not take quite as long to fall asleep and is no longer waking up after only an hour or two of sleep. Funny how it takes her sometime to know that we are back at home and back to the routine. She fought it for a few days, but I think we're back on track now.
I am constantly amazed at how happy she is, the squeals of pure joy she has when she finds something funny is so touching to witness. Even without long naps, Mia is happy and has a great disposition. Today we dragged her Christmas shopping again and she was laughing away while we walked about Macy's. I think we have an extrovert on our hands. She enjoys being out and around crowds.
Today she saw another little girl about her age and called out to her with some baby babble that is Greek to me, but I gather it was something like, "Hey you, wanna ditch these adults?" Later in the day Mia met a baby boy who's bib read, "Dinner's on Me". Of course it meant the his food was on his person, but I think Mia thought she was being asked out on a date because she went to hold his hand. My girl is going to cause me some worry in the future, I can tell. . .
