Thought I should write about the things I love and moments I cherished before they are forgotten since I seem to forget what I did yesterday.
I love the way Mia crosses her ankles when nursing. When a very newly born babe, she was always crossing her ankles with her knees to her tummy while nursing. Must have been her comfy fetal position. These days she rarely crosses her ankles but when she does I think of those early days.
I love it when Mia gazes into my eyes and puts her tiny hands on my breasts as she eats. It's rare that she does so these days as she is so distracted by the world around her. It's the look of wonderment that makes for a cheesy commercial on the benefits of breastfeeding, but I love it.
I love Mia's crooked baby smile. Why is it that many babies do the one corner smile?
I love the way Mia touches the back of her head when trying to fall asleep.
As much as I don't like her independent and demanding streak, I do like that she has a mind of her own. Lately she's decided to refuse the bottle though it contains the same breastmilk. And secretly, just between us, I love that she prefers me to the bottle.

Yeah I love moments like that... My son JJ does cross his legs somewhat while sleeping and such... he rolls over the entire area of the room when he sleeps too... Cherish the moments...
