I talked about knitting today

I have not picked up knitting needles in ages. It has probably been about three months now. My shoulder injury/tendinitis and mobile toddler makes it nearly impossible for me to pick up my projects. I'll throw in my own laziness too. But today I talked about knitting at a friend's baby shower. That's close enough for now.

While I was at the shower Papa took Mia to an Easter Egg Hunt. From what I hear it was lacking the hunt part as the eggs and candies were strewn on a basketball field at Green Lake. Even in plain view, dazed from her recent nap, Mia did not budge from her spot. Guess it was just too much. Eventually she lay her hands on a Cadbury Egg (why that was in the 0-3 year Egg Hunt area is beyond me) and proceeded to chew on it, foil and all.

Friday's Egg Hunt with our PEPS group was no better, but at least it was a beautiful day out. While the grass hid the eggs, they babes still needed some "scaffolding" as we say in the field of education, to find the eggs. Here's a picture of the fun.
