While Pua Pua was visiting, Mia would slumber in her arms twice a day for no more than forty-five minutes tops. After Grandma left, I had to go to work for my last few days. Much to my surprise Mia napped well and readjusted to the church nursery without a problem. Her longest stretch of sleep at church was nearly 2.5 hours! Unfortunately we are back to short stretches.
This week she has not been a great napper. The longest she has slept is about 45 minutes. Right now I am having her cry it out for her morning nap. Hopefully she will go down soon. I've already gone in once to give her a cuddle and let her know I'm here. Right now I'm torn about how to schedule her naps.
Mia has always shown signs of sleepiness about 3-3.5 hours after she has gotten up, so I've always had her nap around then. I'm not sure if I should keep that up or enforce a set nap time like 12-2 or 1-3.
Going to bed has not been a problem for Mia lately. We put her down awake around 7ish and she drifts off without a peep six days out of seven. The problem we are facing is early morning pooping. Mia often wakes up with a poopy around 5:30ish.
