March Already? 32 weeks on Friday

Time really does fly...I kept meaning to update last week, but something always came up and it seemed like every evening and the entire weekend was filled with activity. I was wiped out! I went to my usual knitting group on Monday night, then I had people over two nights, one night was small group and the other was for my church's knitting ministry. It was fun to sit around and knit for hours. Our shipment from Knit Picks came. The church paid for about 140 bucks worth of Wool of the Andes and Merino wool for our knitting project for Mano con Mano.

Kona is doing much better. We are also dogsitting Rocky, our Maltese friend. He'll be here until March 22nd. It was hard at first because we have to keep them from playing, but they are learning and Kona is now pretty quick on her feet. Thanks for all your prayers and concerns. Papa is working extra hard moonlighting to pay for her surgery so that we don't dip into our savings too much.

This Friday, I'll be 32 weeks! I can hardly believe it. We are totally not ready for the baby yet, so we have to get ourselves together. While the room has been completed for a while, we are still waiting for the back piece of the crib to come in as the first one was missing some holes needed for assembly. My mom gave us money for the glider and dresser. We have the glider , but are waiting to see if the dresser we want will go on sale. We began our childbirth classes this week and it was not a whole lot of new information because I've been reading up on it for years, but it was good to hear it instead on read it. We also watched a pretty realistic video of one couple's experience with natural childbirth.

I'm working on finishing the two blankets I've started for our baby, but got sidetracked making a pair of booties, which are almost done. I'm really tempted to start a new project for the baby, but after these booties, I really have to move on the blankets or else they won't be ready for our sweet gal.
