Babies Everywhere

Wow, in the last week two of my friends have had their babies. Going to visit them in the hospital in conjunction with taking our Childbirth Preparation and Newborn Care and Breastfeeding classes is making everything seems so imminent. Of course we both can't wait to meet our little one and love her up, but there are still times when we sit back in amazement regarding the pregnancy. It took us three years to have this baby and we still can't believe we are about to have one!

Today, I couldn't resist, I had to visit Wooly Monkey for their 30% off sale. I bought Blue Sky Organic Cotton to make a teddy bear. So I've added yet another project to my list that need to be completed or near completion before the birth. The two blankets are getting there. I've been trying to knit everyday and tomorrow I'll meet Esther and Lana for a couple of hours of knitting so that should put a dent in something. Oh, it's just too much fun to start new projects! Why is that?

Kona is doing great! She had her post-op visit yesterday and everything looks great. She's very eager to play with Rocky who we've been watching. I am trying to not pay as much attention to her so that she is used to it before the baby, but it's so hard to not love her up. God help us when the baby comes.

I'll post photos soon.

Wow! Congrats! That's so awesome! I'm sure you and Ken are both more than ready! Please also give my regards to Esther and Sarah! Some day, we will get to visit Washington... :)
