With the start of my participation in Secret Pals 4, I've renewed my daily habit of knitting. Though I'm busy with deadlines and prep for my trip to Oakland to train teachers, I've found time to knit a bit more. Last night I started one side of the baby cardigan from Debbie Bliss's Baby Knits for Beginnings and in under two hours (through Idol and Amazing Race with trips to the computer during commercial breaks) I did about 5 inches of knitting. Shaping is just around the corner, gotta love that about baby sweaters.
Yesterday I received a catalog from Knit Picks and am quite intrigued. I really really should not buy more yarn until I reduce my box and I have quite a bit of projects in the queue... but I'd love to try their stuff out for another baby blanket because the prices are amazing! I'll think on it today. UGH! This is why I need FT and steady work...to feed the yarn addiction. But on the other hand, Pup's at the window looking back at me with those sweet eyes. Ah, it's so nice to work from home because puppy kisses are the best. How can I leave her all day? What kind of mischief would she get into without me supervising?
